TP2K on turn in unraised pot
UTG is LP preflop and aggressive postflop. 70/5/1.7 over 100 hands
BB is a bad TAG Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $2.50/$5 4 players Converter Pre-flop: (4 players) yourface is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG calls, Button calls, yourface calls, BB checks. Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($20, 4 players) <font color="#cc0000">yourface bets $5</font>, BB calls, UTG calls, Button folds. Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($35, 3 players) <font color="#cc0000">yourface bets $10</font>, BB calls, <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $20</font>, yourface calls, BB calls. River: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($95, 3 players) yourface checks, BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">UTG bets $10</font>, yourface calls anyone play it differently? the turn brings a obvious draw and I have enough outs vs most 2pairs. 68 8J are a lot of hands though and villain may have a slowplayed T9 T4 T7 that I am drawing thin against the river is a crying call because villain is very dumb |

anyone play it differently? [/ QUOTE ] Nope. I cant fold the river. Idiots raise their combo hands too often. |

Re: TP2K on turn in unraised pot
no, you're not folding TP and you don't want to pay more than you need to to see a SD.

Re: TP2K on turn in unraised pot
After the turn raise, it's $20 to win $75.
Four-handed, I think this is JT/T8/J8/89 often enough. The problem is the 5% PFR. He could have any hand. AA wouldn't shock me. Villain is certainly aggressive enough to justify a calldown, but I wouldn't be happy about it. |

Hard to fold, but you are probably screwed by J8, especially after he bets the river. Can't trust a goon like this, so I call down and lose. Notice he is raising two players on the turn. I don't think that justifies a fold though, especially since you may have outs.

Re: TP2K on turn in unraised pot
i'm sure we'd all win more if this weren't standard against most players. i mean this guy is a freaking down syndrome monkey so maybe it's right against him, but in general the turn's gonna be a fold imo. you're dead very often and you have reverse implied odds since you're calling the river anyway.

[/ QUOTE ] If UTG was a regular good straightforward player, turn would be a instamuck for me. I wont deny that I may call down too much vs idiots. But the fact that he is a downie increases his range to include combo hands and more junk 2 pair hands that a TAG wouldnt have. |
