Default Three barrells in 3bet pot vs TAG

Villain is 22/18 solid, probably views me the same but a little tighter. We have no history that I can recall. Spew?

I don't like it. CO most likely has something like AQ. what are you trying to represent here, 88? I can't see him folding to that river card getting 2.4:1

I think he reraises turn if he has a set. I think he has draw or some type of QX here a lot....so i like the push especialy if you have a tight image. Also depends on how light you have been 3-betting.

I'm representing AQ/AA/KK. Also 2.4:1 odds aren't really that good because my bluffing frequency here is rather low. I can't remember the last time I 3 barrelled with air in a reraised pot.

i don't think AQ is part of what you're representing; i'd say QQ-AA.

i think the play is ok ... anyone think he ever folds kings?

He is never folding AQ here if he has called that turn bet. He may be as strong as KK. i don't like it. I would rather 3 barrel as scare turns hit the board on turn and river. On this board we know he has a hand and i doubt he is folding after calling turn.

If we made our plays thinking that villians should fold because all they beat is a bluff then we would all be broke.

I agree he would be a fish, but we are aiming to take the fish's money not hand it to him on a platter by 3 barreling trying to get him to fold tptk.

you're right. however,

A) the read is that villain is "solid"

B) i never said villain would fold the river, i'm just making the (obvious) point that if he doesn't, he's a tagfish and should be handled differently in the future
