Re: AAon4sRiver: Lots of turn action
I always call this down against unknown since I want to SD to get a read what he donks with. I don't raise without a read that he's likely to bet with a draw or TP.

I don't see any value in raising the turn. as played I you can't win on the river.

Re: AAon4sRiver: Lots of turn action
I like the turn raise here...waiting for a non-heart to improve our equity advantage. The river looks like a fold against a non aggro-donkey.

[/ QUOTE ] the problem with raising the turn is you can't call a 3bet. OP, if you are going to raise/call the turn, you just can't call that river. Just call every street and bet if he checks, I don't understand why you guys want to make this game harder than it has to be. |

Re: AAon4sRiver: Lots of turn action
I take a line that has me showing down 100% in this spot because villain's range is so uncertain. Seems like calling the turn is the best way to achieve that.

Re: AAon4sRiver: Lots of turn action
Isn't anybody raising the flop here? I'd raise the flop and bet the turn. It's more likely villain is on a draw or is trying to protect his flopped top pair.
If villain is going to 3-bet, then I'd rather it happen on the flop than the turn. |
