I think it is a good spot for this, there are a number of K high hands that you might get a fold out of that currently beat you. Also, you cannot profitably check-call the river. His range may include smaller flush draws or stuff like 98, which will not be a large enough part of his range and also bluffing with often enough. But those hands, coupled with the ones that are ahead of you that will fold, should make this a good river bet.

I feel like if you are going to make this turn bet, you need to usually fire a 3rd shot on a river blank. Otherwise, you might as well take the free card since he likely is rarely bet-calling that flop, then folding the turn.

The turn, river are really unlikely to have hit him, and he would probably raise turn with trip T.

His turn call really suggests he's either on a draw, or calling down a Q (or pp) because you check-raised.

There are a lot of draws, so bet.

several draws didn't get there so i think the potential is definitely there. by the same token though if the other guy has a-high or a medium pp i think he's going to look you up putting you on a missed draw some of the time.

Ya I would fire to get KJ or K9s to fold. The pot is also ~6.7BB.

Yeah, I think you might as well fire again. I agree with BigBadBear, though, that you will sometimes get looked up by hands like AJ that you were hoping to fold out.

Edit: I mean, I would probably call with AJ.

I don't expect ace high to fold, but you never know. Even if ace high never folds I'd still bet.

These hands with a paired board with the other player(s) folding the flop and the last person standing chk-raises look awfully suspicious and tend to always get A-high calldowns.

I usually wait for a real hand to chk-raise on the flop here and probably give up the semi-bluff on the river if I did.
