Bally\'s LV raises rake to $5!!! All of Harrahs too?
This is confirmed. I just got an email from someone who works at Ballys/Paris stating the following:
"Well it only took aobut a month. Bally's + presumeably all harrahs raised their rake to $5 max, $1 jackpot. It's a black day for poker." Can anyone confirm if this is all of Harrahs or just Ballys/Paris? Edit to add: Bally's Las Vegas, not AC.

Oh my God, can they suck anymore? Is the extra dollar they make really going to be worth the number of customers they piss off?

Seems all Stations have gone to the $5 max rake and the rest of Vegas will probably follow suit if Harrahs is doing it.
And yes, the Stations thing is confirmed, refer to the GVR/Red Rock thread. I went to GVR and they told me that all the station properties would be $5 shortly, and this was a few weeks ago.
