$50 - Early - Reraise AI / call - JJ
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (7 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)
CO (t1270) Button (t940) SB (t5600) BB (t635) Hero (t2400) MP1 (t225) MP2 (t2430) Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero raises to t150, 3 folds, Button raises to t300, 2 folds. Hero does what?? If I call - No matter what the flop comes he's going to shove, so I could call and fold to anything higher than a J high flop... but it's a guessing game at that point. If a Q comes, he'll push even with AK -- the only thing I see appropriate is shoving all in -- and then I'm most likely in a race... thoughts? |

Re: $50 - Early - Reraise AI / call - JJ
some reads on Button? How did he lose his chips?
He is short so I shove here readless - twice if button was pretty active and did not show down strong hands. The question is: What does he minraise with instead of just shoving? He is either a donk or you are crushed. |

Re: $50 - Early - Reraise AI / call - JJ
Since button is so short you have to shove it in. It'd be interesting if he had closer to 2500. With him so short you can't be playing for set value obv. You also don't want to get bluffed out by AK on Q hi flops too.

If he had 2500 I'd flat.

shove seems fine given stacks.
