So at one point, Sulu says that "there were 12 of us, now there are 9." He is referring to the "elders". One of the dead elders is Linderman, another is Davoe. Is the other Papa Petrelli or someone else?

Agree with whoever said they are building things up for later. Many shows do this. Build crap up then disappear the Thanksgiving until februaury, cliffhanger episode in november.
On another unrelated note i have not seen this mentioned yet. Does anyone think claire's boyfriend has any relation to the petrellis? I think probably not now that i think about it as if he did then kissing claire would be incestuos and they probably would not want something like to be brought up afterwards. I guess the question is why did they introduce a new character that has the same powers as another hero? is this just they ran out of other ideas or that there is some connection between nathan and claire's boyfriend?
