"I was playing Saturday when this happened:

The final board was A63A6

I'm first and say "jack high!" and table J10.

Villian tables 44 and I idiotically turn my hand back over.

The dealer scoops my hand up.

An asian player to my left says "Jack ten huh?"

Then I gasp and realize what has happened. Unfortunately no one else has seen.

The floor comes over and asks if anyone can verify what I had.

I look at the asian dude who looks back blankly. "I saw nothing"

"what?!"

"I dont' know what I saw but I know it could beat 4 high.

And 44 was awarded the pot.

Whatever it's not the end of the world but then

I call down said asian with a Jack on a QJxxx board. He goes "good call, king high." I wait for him to turn his hand over. "King high. . . .with a Queen!" and rolls KQ.

Yup. . . "

i would ask to go outside and break faces at that point...

Had a few fun hands tonight.

Idiot that plays every hand and is running like god opens, tight passive regular CCs, I 3-bet 88 OTB.

Flop 5 9 8

check, check, bet, call, call.

turn 7

check, check, bet, call, call.

river 6

Check, check, bet, call, call.

they both show AJo.

Oh and about an hour before this hand at the MM game I had come from I almost got my ass kicked.

Some meat head with an anger management problem raises his post in CO, I call in BB with J7.

I flop a jack and C/R. Bet the turn and river, and he goes crazy cursing and calling me names. I mean this was his first hand and he is already on tilt like I have never seen before.

A few orbits later I knuckel Q7 in the BB flop is 673, I bet-3bet, bet turn, bet another 7 on the river and he goes crazy again. He told me he would like to shove something up my ass. He was so mad I could bearly understand him.

So after he stares me down for like 5 min and calls me every name in the book. I say "lay off the roids bro"

Holy [censored] was that the wrong thing to say. Never seen his face so red in my life. I thought he might actually get thrown out for abusing me.lol.

Cliff notes:

- I get sucked out on over and over, but thats nothing new
- I almost get in a fight with a guy that could eat me for lunch.
- I run like [censored] still. -$29 for the last 170 hours.
- thinking about dropping back down to 8/16.

-$29 for 170 hours means you are a winning player, about $16 an hour, but that included the time charge and tips...maybe even $17 or $18, since you like those rockstars oh so much.

Last night, Commerce $20-40. KK and I raise UTG and players from every table in the high limit room call. Flop is random rags and one guy named Ali says "have you ever seen a crappier flop in your life?". I bet and LP moron raises. Field folds, I 3 town, bet the turn and moron folds.

Guy to my left: 1 hour, 20 minutes
Me: Huh?
Guy: 1 hour, 20 minutes. On the dot.
Me: What? Since I won my last hand?
Guy: Yeah...1 hour, 20 minutes.

Since when do other players start tracking how bad I am running?

That was my biggest of 4 pots in nearly 5 hours. Meh.

15/30 game.

I am early position with two black Aces. I raise, get 6 callers, of course.

Flop: 5,6,7. Two clubs. Little chance for me to win...maybe a back door flush. Still I lead out, button (very good player) raises, SB calls, two other callers. I call.

Turn, the worst card possible, an Ace. Checked to me. I bet cuz I want to see if I am really dealing with a straight. Button raises, SB calls. And I call, now believing that I must pair the board to win.

However, out of the corner of my eye I notice that Button thinks I am reraising and he only puts out enough chips to call. In other words, he wasn't reraising, which you would do if he had the nut straight. But this is only registering in my subconscious because at the fore of my brain is this hope that the goddamn board will pair.

Bingo, out comes a 7. I have Aces full.

Too my surprise, SB bets out. I immediately raise. Only to be 3 bet by the button, then called by SB. Cuz I don't take moment to consider the possibilities, I 4 bet. Only when Button five bets for the cap do I realize the 7 was his Bingo card, not mine.

End result: SBs sixes full are beat by my Aces full, which of course is trumped by quad 7s. Too bad it wasn't quad Jacks. Meh.

I had to play another million hours to end the session up $160. Have had 12 positive sessions in a row and want to see how long a streak I can run.

[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Ali. He is soooo loose and bad, but also such a nice guy. He likes me, so he'll show me his hands when I fold (usually confirming I made a good laydown) and check the river behind and stuff like that, but he'll play virtually every hand and have no idea how bad he is -- often table coaching others and carrying on this gleeful, ignorant self-confidence.

One time another "tight" player raised preflop and Ali looked down at a hand he wanted to play. He ended up folding and saying "Respect! I'm getting out of your way because I respect that raise."

The board ended up coming K6xxx, and after the hand (which the PFR won), Ali said, "King six suited! I swear to God! I had King six suited and I laid it down out of respect to you!" And he was dead serious. So funny that he considered it standard to cold-call a raise with that hand, and that he was playing really tight to fold it preflop.

Hey stern -- I didn't see you there that night, but I wasn't at that table; I was way down at the end where they start the new games that end up breaking. But then again, it's been so long that I've played with you that I'm not sure I would even recognize you anymore.

He really is pretty dammned nice, but kinda scary when he tilts. I've played with him 3 times and he tilted real bad each time. Last night he was not running good for a while. The guy to his left is a super chatter box....the drag racer guy. Chatter box and guy across the table are carrying on a LOUD conversation. In the middle of it, out of no where, Ali starts yelling "enough! enough!". He then berates the dealer for failing to read his mind and tell the other players to be quiet so he can concentrate. LOL.

My back was to you when Ali said hello to you. I was already stuck pretty good. So I didn't want to get up and talk to anyone. The players were so awful..........

Why I love FW's

Down at FW's today; game is good, I am running bad. 2 flopped sets down in flames, 3 rivered "2 pah", etc.

I raise QQ (1st time I've raised in 1/2 hour and get called in 4 spots.

Flop is AQ5 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], I bet aggro button and any 2 SB call.

Turn is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Aggro button seems to be licking his chops, I check, he bets, SB calls, I call.

River is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I check, aggro button bets, SB raises, I 3-bet, button folds, SB 4-bets, I 5-bet, he 6 bets, I call and he shows 33 for quads.

I call it a day...
