Re: Another friends and jail situation
Refuse the package and have the USPS send it back to your dumbass friend.

Re: Another friends and jail situation
There's not much they can do unless you admit you requested it or your friend was dumb enough to put a return address.
The USPS can't open first class without a warrant, so that's probably what the delay is. If you get a call from the post office saying you have a damaged package to pickup, just tell them you weren't expecting any and you refuse delivery. |

Re: Another friends and jail situation
cliffs notes:
-I am high right now and pretty paranoid -I have committed a felony and I want to know how to get away with it in rare chance that I get caught -I am going to post about this felony on an internet message board to ensure a paper trail so that if I do get caught I will lose my opportunity to deny that I knew what was in the box |

Re: Another friends and jail situation
I imagine it depends on the quantity, but unless it was serious weight you'll just get a letter saying it was seized and give you the option to fight to get it back (lol).

I call bull Edit: This case is somewhat interesting. The plaintiff lost their appeal in Indiana State Supreme Court when they claimed a right to privacy for their package containing drugs. The government used a could not deliver slip on the door to get the plaintiff to sign for the package so if you get one of those you are totally f'ed United States vs. Sidney A Evans |

Just the experience of other people that used the same pot delivery dude as me. The quantities were only like an ounce though.

Did your friends package cross state lines (if so its Federal laws you have to worry about and I doubt the federal statute lets you get away with a half oz or whatever... then again, i am not sure) |

Re: Another friends and jail situation
I'd assume that it's just not worth the bother of going after them most of the time. You'd probably be surprised at the amount of stuff going through the usps.
