5/10 weird blind battle

playing 4handed, villain has 1200 I cover. (stacks irrelevant though, smallish pot) My read is he's a TAG but it's only been 30ish hands. He got his stack (the +200) by raising pf and betting the flop one hand, and 3betting and betting the flop the other hand. My image is ok bc i havent been crazy.

He raises to 30in the SB, I call w/ A4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Flop 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (60)
he checks I check
turn comes a 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
he checks I check
river 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
he bets 45, should I call?

I fold but I'd probably call a bet on the flop

Since this is such a small pot, calling may be best for the long term. You will give off a fish like scent that you can exploit with later...

Also, it would seem that he either has a monster or an airball given action.

My guess is that he would think an unknown would err on the side of calling too much on the river. So fold the first time.

Bet flop most of the time but I don't mind a check to mix it up.

I bet the turn though. I fold the river because if he didn't make a move on the pot in the first 2 streets he probably won't now.

sure i'll call this some - if i am other dude i do this type of crap reaonably often w like Jhi/Qhi stuff cause no one ever calls.
