Jesus tap-dancing christ.

If you're gonna c/r, make it something not girly, something around 55-60 works.

Rather lead 10 and get value from all draws.

[/ QUOTE ]

At the risk of getting ridiculed further--> If I raise $60, I'll only have a half-pot-sized bet (or smaller) left. Wasn't the choice here between calling or shoving?

all i saw was "when i min raised"

[/ QUOTE ]

Nothing wrong with min-rasing after it get backs to hero, if that was what you meant. By min-raising you get maximum value from draws that might fold to a bigger raise. If you just flat call UTG+1 might make a too big bet on turn forcing SB to fold without having put any more money in.

[/ QUOTE ]

checking the flop and then minraising the turn is in NO WAY getting max value from draws

[/ QUOTE ]

Hero check-raised the flop and called all-in on the turn.

[/ QUOTE ]

okay, i read the action wrong, but this is still a crappy way to get action and makes your hand look really strong, so unless you are playing total bluffs like this also, this line is not optimal

since you only have 70 BB, you can still get it in doing this so its not insanely bad, but if you were deeper this would be much worse

Which makes it really easy for him to call.

Just to be clear I don't think checking the flop in the first place is good. I just commented on the action after heros check.
