I am about to make Nova around mid Dec., which I never thought I would as I play small stakes. So I have a interest in what happens in the freerolls.

I don't mind the current freeroll structure but I am not crazy about the time. I generally work on Sat. and even if I am off in time to play, my wife isn't fond of me cutting into "date night" as I play alot of poker during the week already.

I would rather them be held during the week at night or even on Sun. night. Of course I know its going to be inconvenient for someone no matter when they are held.

The idea of a lottery type drawing doesn't bother me too much either. Might even be better for me, since I suck at tourneys.

Scotty,

Does Stars have any plans to change the 1M fpp requirement to achieve sne? And will the 5x multiplier stay the same? I'm wondering this because the 24 table max limit seems to have changed things a bit.

-----Totally off the subject, but do you know how much the total value of all the pots on PokerStars is in a single week/month? How much is gambled in a week?

Couldn't even give a good guess!

I don't expect any major changes but nothing has been decided.

Come on Scotty, we wanna know!!!

I'll give you 2-1 that it will be harder to convince management to release the information than it will be for a programmer to come up with the figure.

why dont u get deep nl tables for all limits
im sick of the short stackers at 1/2

that would be awesome, all the good players playing on the deep tables, would make the easy short stacker money even easier to get

Most of them play very tight and the good ones can squeeze out a small profit.

What sucks is that:

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]they take up a seat that would probably otherwise be filled by a mediocre player.
[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]they pay very little in rake.
[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]they cause the whole table to tighten up (sometimes).

if i see someone buy in for $25.76 at a NL100 table i know its a fish playing for his entire bankroll.
if i see someone buy in for 20$ and play real tight, then he is easy to avoid when he raises from early.
but i know what you mean. if someone plays worse than me i would always want him to be deeper than i am.
