Take 2 12-tablers- one at Stars and one at Tilt. If both sites suddenly implemented a 6-table maximum, these two players would then be playing 6 tables at Stars and 6 tables at Tilt EACH. So you're right back where you started.

I see what you're saying, but this is offset somewhat by people with slow computers or for whom FTP lags or who don't trust FTP with their money or whatever. I don't think any of those things are insignificant.

I'm willing to admit that reducing the max number of tables probably will just make grinders spread out their play. I still don't think that you can effectively argue that it is in Stars' best interest to increase the max as it will clearly lead to overfishing.

But this is offset by the fact that Full Tilt has monthly direct rakeback, and many 'grinders' prefer this reward to fpps.

If all the 'grinders' were at Stars, then the Full Tilt tables would be much fishier. In which case, a portion of the 'grinders' would go back to Full Tilt to take advantage.

Maybe I'll be running into you a bit at Full Tilt. I really like the fact that there is now a 16 table cap there; I should be playing Tilt more often now.
