Year in Freiburg

My son is starting a year "abroad" at the University of Freiburg in August. His german is very good (obviously) and he does have quite a few friends in Germany but they are mainly in the east (i.e. Dresden,Berlin). He doesn't play Poker (I know.. it's a big disappointment to me as well) but I thought that if we had a local 2p2'er, they could give him the scoop on the town.
