NL200 - AK oop in rr pot
Villain is 16/9/1.5 over small sample (100 hands). I've been pretty active (he prolly sees me around 28/20 so far), but we haven't had any confrontations yet.
I'm not really sure what to do on the turn. My only real choices are c/c, c/f or push. . . I don't like any of these options Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) BB ($101.55) UTG ($164.25) MP ($199) CO ($209.75) Button ($198.80) Hero ($234.55) Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG raises to $7, 2 folds, Hero raises to $24, 1 fold, UTG calls $16. Re: NL200 - AK oop in rr pot
This is a really crappy spot.
I agree Bet/fold or Bet/call are for sure bad news. Only hands that beat you call a shove, so thats no good. I think the best line is c/f as crazy as it seems. If the turn goes check/check. I would check call a non shove river unimproved. Again, this is a crappy spot. I'm interested to see what others have to say. |

Re: NL200 - AK oop in rr pot
I think I'd c/fold the turn. The board looks like it's hit his range pretty hard. Even calling a half pot sized bet on the turn leaves both of you with awkward stacks for the river.

Its a horrible spot, I Check/fold turn. [/ QUOTE ] Yep, against a nit raise/calling UTG, u r crushed most of the time. It's worth considering flat-calling preflop because I doubt he's folding all that much of his range and now you get to play a bloated pot OOP. |

Re: NL200 - AK oop in rr pot
The only thing you appear to be ahead of is JJ at this point. Either that or you guys have the same hand. In this situation, check/fold, and then pat yourself on the back for being able to make that play, I know it gets tough.

Re: NL200 - AK oop in rr pot
This spot sucks. He's got to know this flop hit your 3-bet pretty hard. Prolly a draw, but one draw just got there. I c/f, and if he checks behind I'll check and call a reasonable bet on the river.

Re: NL200 - AK oop in rr pot
At first I would say bet/fold, but the more I look at this, you'll have to c/f this hand against this nit if he bets the turn.
