Default scooter1234/mikelaff438

IIRC, I think we've been getting a lot of spam from someone who's using the e-mail address mikelaff438@yahoo.com. He's got one in OOT right now. I've banned him, but the thread still needs to be mopped up. Anyway, it might be worth looking into the IP's of some of our recent spammers to see if there's a chance of nailing this guy permanently.

Also, if anyone sees that e-mail address in spam, you might want to make note of it in the user notes so we can track him better.

He just spammed again today. He's pretty much been spamming every day it seems. I sent off an email to him on an old email account asking how I can get free $$$:

"Sign up a new account on partypoker.com using the bonus code bling55, then send me the account name and real name and i will send you 50$ if you do this now it will get sent tongiht"

I responded:

"OK. Cool. And then after that how much rakeback do I get? Because I'm pretty sure that if I sign up here, you get a % of my MGR forever. 30% sounds fair to me. Do you pay monthly then through Neteller or what? Let's get this going!"

He gets back to me:

"i get 20% ill give u rake back if you play but i doubt you will, if u are going to want rake back i wont give u the free 50 though, so u can decide 50 or rakeback"

What's my play? Would party shut him down as an affiliate if they find out he's offering rakeback? Can I use the threat of giving our email exchange to Party as a way to stop his habitual spamming?

I report every affiliate spammer and they either get shut down or they stop spamming. Same result, in either case.
