Default Top Pair Turn Spot

Villain is tagish after 30 hands. He has not shown down a hand yet or seen any meaningful action. How's my turn play? What's my next move?

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
6 players

BB - Villain $36.10
SB - $27.10
UTG - $14.25
UTG+1 - Hero $24.85
CO - $9.05
OBO - $16.35

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.75, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]($1.6, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1, BB raises to $3.5, Hero raises to $8, BB raises all-in $35.35, Hero...?

You didn't get to the turn... I like betting a little more on this flop mainly because it discourages him from trying to get fancy. As played, if he hasn't done anything this session yet I think I fold to the initial c/r and make a note. I like to give people credit the first time they do this. You could call it and re-evaluate on the turn but I find this is generally bad and spewy as you're really putting him on a flush draw. Your average NL25 'tag' is not c/ring this flop with Kx. As played you need to fold to the all-in. Don't 3-bet this flop without a specific read.
