I have been given a $500 stake to play $25 NL for over a week or so until all my new accounts to transfer monies from site to site are up and working... so you guys do suggest 12 tabling and playing nitty is probably the best way to go? I need just a few more fpps for a bonus I've been wanting to reach for awhile now..

Brag or beat?: I'm at 150k vpps on the year and still can't beat $100 NL

Was just going to make what i'd consider a good post to help out uNL.

Then i realised this forum isn't protected and lurkers would just use/steal/not give back. So i pasted it into a desktop file and left it.

Anyone else hate posting here for that reason? God dam lurkers.

I hate your arrogant, selfish thinking.

Reasons:
- You should post it just because there is a chance that the veteran posters here and those who know more than you will tear your essay appart so that YOU learn something from it.
- I assume you don't review hands for the same reason?
- Don't think that any one of you guys is part of some kind of elite just because you are regulars here and "give back" or even have anything to give back.
- most of the anonymous lurkers misapply theory anyway because they don't get feedback on their actions.
- I don't care about your work because your arrogance level alone makes it more than probable that it's crap.

Serious, specially if im running like crap/made a dumb play and am generally pissed off with what i've done - Ill be snappy/block/have to resist showing it to whoever spoke to me.

Give me 20 minutes and then im back to normal and can continue on as normal LOL.

Also if im running good, it puts me in a better mood for the whole day.

Addictions only a problem if i go busto right?

I've been bored lately and mixing up game selection. A few things I've noticed:

uPLO games are verrrrry soft. Running reasonably, 100bb/100 seems to be a realistic winrate up to .25/.50. Keep in mind that I know absolutely nothing about Omaha, I don't even know how to calculate my chances of winning. I'm also up about 7 buyins. It seems to me like it's sooo much easier to flop a combo draw, opponents are stupid and slowplay hands like sets but then stack off when you hit your 18 outer. Heck, I don't even REALLY know what a good hand is and what isn't, I just try to play hands like connected doublesuited hands, AKxx double suited, and big pairs trying to set the flop.

PokerStars Game #12147205246: Omaha Pot Limit ($0.25/$0.50) - 2007/09/19 - 12:33:52 (ET)

*** SHOW DOWN ***

floydey: mucks hand
Supwithbates collected $38.05 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $40 | Rake $1.95
Board [7c 8s Ah Td 7s]
Seat 1: floydey (big blind) mucked [8c 6c 9d 3d]
Seat 2: lost243 folded on the Flop
Seat 3: Rosvosektori folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 5: Supwithbates (button) showed [Ad Kd Tc Ac] and won ($38.05) with a full house, Aces full of Sevens
Seat 6: PokerrrG (small blind) folded before Flop

for example.

50NLHE headsup can be soft but has such variance that I don't think I could be a profitable grinder there. I played a complete passive fish today and it took me almost 150 hands to take 55$ from him. I don't expect most opponents will be so soft.

Razz/Stud/etc. are probably soft but the difference from Hold'em seems greater than in Omaha so my basic poker theory understanding seems to be less of an asset in those games. Plus it's harder to quickly extract from the droolers in limit games, and the hi/lo thing is harder to put opponents on ranges, you'll expect to have the best hand and end up quartering it and losing $.

Does anyone have a link to the pokertracker graphing tool. I've been trying to look but can't find anything.
