Default Beat: Got RickRoll\'d at a bar

So yesterday was the biggest downsizing I have ever experienced. Started the day playing two $43 heads up shootouts on FTP. In the first one, I make it to the second round, which lasted 76 hands, during the course of which I get dealt 2 pocket pairs (3s and 6s), and proceed to hit top pair or better on the flop a total of 4 times, of which I win two, fold one, and get outkicked on the last, so I lose. The second one dude snap-called my 4-bet AKs shove pf with Q9o and won.

OK, down $86, whatever. I switch over to cash tables and start 8-tabling $50NL. I lose 6 buy-ins in less than 250 hands, which is a whole new level of suckage. KK<AA 3 times (2x aipf, 1 on flop), JJ<AA on a AJx flop, and my personal favorite... J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] < J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on a K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] flop. So that sucked.

OK, down like $400. On a whim I join a $170 heads up shootout. Lose it. Now I'm down 12 buy-ins. This is not good. I transfer all but about $90 of my bankroll to a friend of mine to prevent me from tilting the rest off and head to a bar.

The song playing at the bar? You guessed it. Rick [censored] Astley... at first I'm like "oh man, this sounds familiar.." and then "Never gonna give you up / .." NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! God damn you!!!!! That just felt so cold. I felt like the bar just sucker punched me in the mouth.

Beat: Lose 12 buy-ins in an insanely short time span.
Beat: Head to a bar desperately needing liquid fuel, and get rickroll'd.
Beat: Withdraw most of my money to prevent me from going on insane monkey tilt.
Brag: When I get home from the bar, I decide to sit at a $100 NL heads up cash table and smoke the guy across from me for 3 buy-ins.
Beat: This morning, I lost a 300 BB pot 24 < AQ on a 24Q flop, and lost the rest of my remaining roll with JJ < KT on a T52 flop.
Variance: I can't take it.

This is definitely karmic payback for turning a thread about a tragedy in my hometown into a flamefest.
