@cream if u know hes 3betting light all the time, and if the flop is low and there is a good change u can take it down by cbetting if u got pos then call right? IF he wont lay down his overcards (which happens alot) then u should call all day.

The key here is that we do NOT have odds to call for set value. If we call we are planning to win the pot unimproved a reasonable % of the time. This will be a very big pot and pretty much any action on the flop by villain is scary.
I usually fold but if we are going to play we probably need to just 4-bet/push PF.

I pretty much call all 3bets with pocket pairs because the implied odds at uNL are insane, just be sure that villain has enough behind to make it profitable if you do hit a set.

I prefer to call with a SC IP rather than a PP, at least we can flop a decent draw to semi-bluff on around 1/4th of the time. A small pp like this one will frequently leave you with a tough decision after the flop like I've already said. If you are sure he is 3-betting light, I prefer to 4-bet as it probably gets him to fold a high% of the time for a very cheap price/ compared to floating/raising his c-bet/ worrying if he'll be able to fold his piece after the flop.

the tighter his 3bet range is, the better value u'll get to your set. so if he has been 3betting w/ wide range -> fold, semitight range -> xx% fold xx% call, and tight/ v. tight range -> call.
