Your thoughts on 3-betting hands like 99-JJ?

[/ QUOTE ]

I generally don't do it unless I've been 3betting the [censored] out of the guy and feel like he's ready to play back light.

So basically history dependent.

Also how often do you play the party 5/10 game?

vs a 22/18, how bad did i play this hand??

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1705382

Basicly, he called in SB with K2s, so i have pretty big problems putting him on a range here...

just fold the flop, you're crushed by his range and his preflop range does not include many offsuit aces to semibluff with at all. He's not bluffing here 3 way, and if he is, it's not often.

Any tips/secrets to handling the swings of higher limits? I really don't mean the # of buy-ins, but the pure monetary amounts.

I think that range is likely generous too and your actual equity generally being lower, but I could be wrong.

imo, the only real way to get used to it is to win for a while/go on a heater at those limits. It's always gonna feel like a lot of money until then.

I've got a couple questions that I would love to hear your answers to.

First off; What are your thoughts on the major differences is MSNL games ranging from 2/4 all the way up to 10/20? From my limited experience and observation it seems like there is just a smaller and better player pool with less fish the higher you go and that you need to be able to exploit other good players leaks as you move higher rather than just preying on fish. Obviously table selection is huge too. Would you say this is accurute? What might you add to this?

My other question is, regarding the difference between Stars and FullTilt. What are your thoughts on any general diferences in how the games play between the two sites and what are your thoughts on the player pools for 3/6 and above for each site? (if you are comfortable sharing)
