I can't remember the name of the show but I think it was on CBS.

Pretty boring.

Chan was China, Yosh N was Japan, Scotty Nguyen was Vietnam, Rick Perry was Russia, Eli Elezera was Isreal etc.

Nobody actually seemed to live in the country they were assiciated with anymore except Texas Dolly.

The event was the Intercontinental Poker Championship on CBS, an event won by Yosh Nakano, representing Japan.

Country of origin or citizenship status were the criteria for selection. About a third of the players lived at least part-time outside of the U.S.

BTW, the representative from Vietnam was Chau Giang, not Scotty Nguyen.

My understanding: the PPL has been delayed at least until June 2007, when the investors can fully assess the impact of the banking regulations to be imposed as a result of the UIGEA.

What is beginning late night on Jan. 1 is NBC's Poker After Dark.
