Re: WSOP 2K Event
I agree with the turn check and to fold to the raise as played.
In fact, does anyone else just fold the flop ever? |

Re: WSOP 2K Event
My reads on the flop was that EP player was taking a shot with a weak K, he just didn't seem that confident, and CO made an easy call preflop and on flop so I put him on a decent flush draw, posibly nutflush draw or maybe a combo flush/gut. I felt that an OE straight/flush draw would have thought just a little longer.
CO was also the type to protect a made hand on a dangerous board so with 4 other players still in the hand, I definately had him on a draw. The turn seemed to confirm this so I valuebet against the the EP and charged the CO. |

Re: WSOP 2K Event
I didn't play in the WSOP this year.
How often were people in their late 20s open limping UTG+1 with hands like K9, K8, K7, K2? |

[ QUOTE ] EP limp [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I limp with KdTd [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] EP player was taking a shot with a weak K [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] I thought he would have looked more comfortable with KQ,KJ. Weak is a relative term. I should have meantioned earlier that this player was a bit laggy, K9s+ (posibly even wider) was definately in his range, AK, KQs was probably not. After his check on the turn with multiple flush and straight draws into 2 callers, I think it's standard for me to push him over given the reads. More reads: On the flop if CO had KQ, KJ, I think he would have at least taken a few seconds to consider a raise. On the turn after my raise, CO took a few seconds and looked like he was making a decision. |

Re: WSOP 2K Event
I think I was the late 20s guy? This hand seems really familiar.

If you were there, I went into the tank and started thinking out loud.
I was the middle age asian with a goatee. |
