Default What are your PF stats like?

Hi, I don't use poker tracker, but on Ultimate bet, they keep track of stats for you. I think I VPIP about 70% and raise PF somewhere around 30%. (This is mostly six handed, I don't have much experience at full ring.)

(Is there sort of a general consensus to how many hands you should be playing, like most good hold em players play roughly the same starting hands the same way.)

70/30 is pretty high, I run at about 50/20 at 6max, and I think I'm really passive preflop. I think maybe 45/30 is about optimal in aggressive games, but I think Benyamine/Ivey/PA all run at about 60/25. I don't think there's a set in stone solid PF stats in Omaha, but 45/30ish seems to be about right. 70% VPIP is way too much, and your distance between VPIP/PFR is way too high too.

I'm just starting out. What are good stats for full table? (Party micro limits)

Well, I'm known to play tight, but for the best type of hands I raise from any position including hte blinds.

AAAA, KKKK, down to 7777
AAAx, KKKx, down to 888x
(These are rare hands, but you already have quads or a set so rare but very valuable)
6789 type of hands are great because you only need a 5 or T to make a straight.
4 of same suit are nice for same reason..just need one more of the same suit for a flush.

from MP and LP, I raise
AAxx, KKxx, down to TTxx
5789 tyoe of hands, not as good as 6789 since they are harder to make a straight, so only raise when you have position.
Same for 3 flush hands...only raise in position.

As far as calling, just call with anything if you get rakeback because omaha hands are very much the same strength preflop compared to the Texas holdem that you are used to. Just call and see the flop, where hands are made and lost. That's where you'll make your money.

I'm 27/12. That figure won't tell you anything though, and I am prone to nutpeddle 3-4 tables while playing stupid-LAG if I have a target on others. I've played sessions of 500+ hands at 60/25, and I even thought that was rediculous. Anyone over 60% has to be an expert or an idiot.

I've been playing around at the party mid-stakes for a change of pace from NLHE. I'm running at something similar to glass_onion (30/10 overall) and am pleased with the results. At the moment, my PFR is growing and I am actually tightening up, so my stats are probably more like 25/15 right now.

My philosophy with pretty much any game is to start out with an essentially taggy approach and then branch out from there as your confidence and ability grow.

You guys are running at those numbers 6 handed or at FR? If that's 6 handed, you are playing way, way too tight. I cannot see how it's profitable to nut peddle playing 27% of your hands. Full ring that's not terrible, but I'd think you'd want to be in the 35-40% range at least.

I'm 39.8/8.0 at almost all 6 max over last month.

My complete PLO25/50 6 max stats (25,000 hands) - 36.6/9.9
