Okay, how about this one from last night...this might become the running make FGators play more creatively thread...

this guy seems to be kind of tight/passive

I raise 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in CO to $8 with $350 total, BB calls (He has $400).

Flop: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He leads $12, I call

Turn: Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

He leads $16, I raise to $58

[/ QUOTE ]

no, are you leveling here? If you want to bluff, raising the flop is much more credible.

Keep in mind that I folded this hand but I thought this might be a spot where I can get more aggro and stop being predictable. A) this guy thinks I'm nitty B) I don't know wtf he has here. I mean it could very well be a boat but I thought maybe raising it like 3x his lead (under potsized) would get the job done most likely.

Villain is a pretty aggressive Stars regular. I raise 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the button, this guy calls. We each have like $260 in front. He's capable of making moves and like I said I believe he thinks he can push me around.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

he checks, I fire $14, he calls

Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

He leads for $22, (I debate making it $65-70).

Thoughts?

[/ QUOTE ]

no, he isnt bet/folding anything but a bluff and hes not bluffing into a tight PFR on this board very often.

much better, except that he's tight/passive. if he were at all aggro then this is great since he will fire a 2nd barrel here always when the overcard hits

I just sensed weakness in that wimpy $16 lead...it was like he had A4/A5 or 33 or something so I thought it was less what I was repping and more that I didn't think he could call. I guess I was repping like AQ/KQ or a set/straight that was letting him come along. I'd usually always raise a set here but he was a one tabler so I think in the cases I don't think it matters when this guy isn't aware of much.

Anyway, he instashoved for $327 more so I don't know wtf he had, I guess the straight considering he was passive and then went ridiculously nuts.
