Default Re: 2 Overpair Hands - Should I fold....?

I played a lot of 1/2 fr and I didn't notice a dramatic increase in intelligence from the other levels below it.

Still won the same there that I did at .50/1.00 and still won the same at 2/4

At 3/6 I noticed a difference.

I never said capping the flop was correct I just said it plays differently. Personally I think its correct but someone can prove me wrong.

Call I don't win nearly as much if I win and don't lose nearly as much as I can when I lose.

The thing is I win more than I lose so why am I slowing down on either of these flops?

Speaking of which, what actually happens in hand 1 when I cap?

Does MP3 fold?

hand 3 puke and fold vs abc, otherwise calldown if villain is aggro.

sorry

[ QUOTE ]
what do you think the PF capper has in either spot??

[/ QUOTE ]

to be honest - QQ, KK, AA, prob. JJ, AKs, and maybe AKo or TT.

[ QUOTE ]
hand 1:
on the turn ... you're hoping BB is overplaying AQ?
and in general: flop cc2 + turn Raise usually mean a set (especially when OOP)
i can find a fold here
but callin down isn't really 'wrong'

[/ QUOTE ]

possible AQ but unlikely due to preflop. Also hoping BB was pushing JJ, TT here. Perhaps a bit optimistic..

i agree and in retrospect i think its a pretty standard fold the second time on the turn.
[ QUOTE ]

hand 2:
i think you are toast but I would have a hard time folding an OP when HU

note: your 'crycalling' was on the turn ... if you called the turn (you really should be calling the river) ... or do you think this guy has AJ?

[/ QUOTE ]

i did call down, but i thought i was beat on the flop. so you could call the flop call a crying one too

Smurph ... dude ... stop thinking poker is like a video game (some 5/10 and 10-20 tables play like 15c/30c ... it's your job to find them)
1/2 is generally full of multi-tabling nits (2/4 is slighty better, IMO) ... you recently said you didn't have the bankroll for 2/4 (how did this change so quickly??) ...

your range is way - wAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy off
99+, AQs+, AQo+

nice try ... you've been nailed for this before ... making improbable ranges to prove you are correct

this is never TT or JJ
this is not AQs+, AQo

it's likely QQ+, 99, maybe an overplayed AQ (but you need to discount) and like 1.5 hand worth of AK, and just so you don't feel left out let us give JJ a worth of 0.75

and then your other range is like 'whatever you felt like' ... random hands that are given no weight

the random donkey thing has been playing on my mind lately, and in some respects is a reason why i made this post. villains are getting out of line less and less, and i feel i need to change the big pot calldown:feel im beat fold ratio a bit

sorry if my thoughts are jumbled, ive been awake for too long

I folded the third hand btw

Did you make that avatar for yourself, or did someone give it to you as punishment?
