I could understand not catching some of the humor with the American version (obscure referancaments), but I doubt the writing for the British show is any more "intellectual" than it's US counterpart. |

I am Dutch. So I think it's absolutely normal as being a foreigner not to understand some Britsh jokes.

British version is much better than the American due to the writer actually being English and being fresh comedy as it was all new type of comedy... the characters were better aswel
