it sounds like you'd be a fan of liqiud cocain shots: 151, peperment schnaps, and jagermiester floated on top.

So it seems that a lot of you like to drink jager/red bull as a mixed drink rather than chugging it (Jager Bomb style)?

I actually thought this was relatively rare... I do this quite a bit though and it is a very good drink.

Bud light (I'm from st louis so it's not a bad thing)
or
Any type of vodka and hawain punch
or
any type of vodka and mountain dew

I'm not very picky, but hey I'm not drinking alcohol for the taste

Wow, I never thought I would see so many guys talking about the wonders of flavored vodkas. Be a man, drink whiskey or gin. I am partial to Manhattans, Jack and Coke, or Gin and Tonic, or any beer.

Velocity, scotchwise you should try both blended and singlemalt scotch. For blended, try Johnnie Walker Red or Black. For single malt, any 10-12 year ages will be good. You are likely to see Glenlivet, Glenmorangie, Glenfiddich, Balvenie, etc. Any are good. You don't want to drink these to get drunk, but ofr a really good and unique drink, mix 2-3 oz. with a little water. You probably should see if you can taste some of these before plunking down $30 for a bottle. Some people just don't appreciate scotch.

JW Blue + Ice = Good

[/ QUOTE ]

1. Get better Scotch.
2. Remove ice.
3. Enjoy!

[/ QUOTE ]

what do you think is better than JW blue? my current scotch of choice is the glenlivet 18, and if i could find it consistently, the glenlivet 21.

velocity,

there really isn't a single 'best' scotch. the many different variations of single malts have such a vast array of flavors, that your best bet is to sample them, and develop a feel for what you like. of course, if you're just looking to get [censored] out of your head, i prefer stoli O and redbull.

disaronno is real solid... although in my teenage years i would steal drinks out of my grandpa's (who was/is senile) $100+ bottles of amaretto. that [censored] was fantabulous.

i'm pretty much an amaretto fiend, however i can rarely afford it.

i've been drinking a lot of white russians as of late, but it has a lot to do with my roommate being gifted a case (12 bottles) of kahula from his uncle's bar. don't ask how it happened, i don't know and don't care. but, white russians are [censored] tasty.
