Default Cal State tuition increased, Professors will strike

It is not official yet that they will strike, but I'd be willing to bet on it.

i saw a group of picketing faculty earlier in the semester.

honestly though, the prices of CSU's are fine. CSU's are one of the best eductional systems for the money, it really is a good deal. people these days will complain about anything. tuition is like $3000 per semester, more then reasonable.

infact i think they should raise tuition drastically to weed out all the undesireables. its amazing that at the upper division level you still have these retards who just don't give a fug about school. i am constantly amazed at the level of stupidity in my business classes. its a disgrace, but i guess thats what i get for going to a public uni.

alot of these CSU's are too big as it is. i believe CSUF is the 2nd largest cal state with ~36,000 students, and SDSU is #1 i think.

so in conclusion, let them strike and let them eat cake.

We definitly need to weed out the undesirables, I hate being around poor people.

There are alot of rich stupid people who don't care because daddy pays for everything.

If you go to a CSU and haven't heard about this... it's pretty sad. Unless, Sac State is the only school where there are booths everywhere talking about the strike.

Isn't this kind of silly? Aren't they raising tuition to pay professor salaries?
I wish I had went to a school that was like, 4-5k a semester. Some of those Cal state schools are really good for physics. The Iowa state schools are not nearly as good. Instead I went to a lib. arts school where my education basically sucked and the other students were all rich morons that I hated, plus I racked up a lot of debt in the process.
