I like how you played it, I disagree with 2+2 on the you called the turn you have to call the river now, everyone 2 barrels all the time and 3 barrels are pretty rare.

I like how you played it. I don't think it's a good idea to try to pick off a 3 barrel bluff on this board with no history. And it's already been said but standard villains love 2 barreling these boards so I think call turn fold river is ok in this spot.

Probably 3. As others have said, he could be bluffing or value betting a worse hand.
