Default Trinity College Football (laterals ldo)

I know a lot have seen this on ESPN, but WOW.

http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/...goryId=2564308

I love at the end when the last guy scoops it, the defender doesnt even make an attempt to get him.

They were hoping the band would come out on the field.

Seriously, though, something similar happened in the Alamo Bowl a few years ago when Michigan nearly beat Nebraska in this fashion. A Wolverine player was out of options and was forced to lateral to a lineman, which is a bad idea normally, but the lineman tripped over his own feet and fell on his ass, and the ball hit the ground, and for some reason everyone thought it was an incomplete pass and the game was over. <font color="white">Also, I think you mean "laterals FTW."</font>

I'm a prof at Trinity. It's pretty crazy to wake up and see that on the front page of ESPN.com.

It all looked hopeless until the lateral that bounced (the 15th, by my count). Notice that the closest four Millsaps guys stop playing, as if they think that once the ball hits the ground, it's dead. That's the only reason the touchdown gets scored.

I hadn't seen this until now, I can't believe the play went that long without anyone getting tackled.

Wow, arent you guys embarrassed by the low standard of play?

Something like that should not be possible, tons of errors by defending team.
