I can promise you this, if Dids is free and wants to take a vacation he should put on the Drew Carey glasses and show up at the ballpark in Cleveland.

Pretty sure he could get in for free. Plus even possibly end his no sex/dry spell.

If you have to ask, you don't sound like a very big fan to me.

Staying at home and watching the same game with friends, PLUS making money and making someone else happy that really wants to see it live means Im not a real fan?

The value of world series tickets on the scalping market isn't obscene. The best seats are going to go to season ticket holders and MLB sponsors/VIPs. What you buy will likely be in the upper deck and have a face value of $100 to $150. Thise seats might get you $400 apiece if you are lucky. Unless you are a broke student or something, the $600 bucks isn't even close to the value of a potential once in a lifetime experience.

The WS certainly can go 6 or 7 games this year.

[/ QUOTE ]

Obv it can, but it probably wont.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree. Pretty obvious the Rockies finish the season on a 25-1 run.

Agreed with this.
In 03 when the Marlins beat the Yanks I was lucky enough to see game 6 live when Beckett dominated. Friends sisters boss got the tickets for her brother and I. We actually thought about selling them. They were 300 face value and were 2 rows back right behind home plate. A matter of fact we sat next to Penny Marshall and John MCenroe with a bunch of other so called Celebs around. Now im a Sox fan and I will never regret not selling those tix even tho my team wasnt involved.

i had tix to games 6 and 7 in 2003
i had 5 pairs to game 6 and sold 4
when the cubs were up 3-1 on florida i sold 2 of the pairs for over 3500 each (upper deck behind the plate seats)
once the cubs blew it i was lucky to get 600 a pair

If they make game 7 you might hate yourself, but I say go with game 1. There is nothing like the energy in a stadium during game 1 of the series.

I went to WS games 1 & 2 in Boston in 2004. I kind of regretted going to game 2, b/c it cost me $250 and I could have made > $1,000, and I had already had the experience of game 1, and I had gone to ALCS Game 5 vs the Yankees (so it was my 3rd game in a row) AND I was a broke student at the time.

I just bought a ticket in section 156 (3 rows behind home plate) for $275 for ALCS game 5. On Ebay

[X] Choice 6: I pay for both tix to whatever WS game you want to and you go with a total stranger. (ME!!!!)

Choice 3: I doubt the WS will go to 6 games this year. Whether Cleveland or Boston makes it, it will be over in 5. But if NOT then it definitely wont go to 7 games, so 6 would be the best bet to see them win it.

[/ QUOTE ]

And the home team will be celebrating victory in the streets after Game 5.

My suggestion to OP, is go to Games 1 and 2.
