Default LC - 2nl Trickery

Anyone ever see anything like this?

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.02 BB (6 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

Hero ($2.59)
UTG ($.78)
MP ($.84)
CO ($.16)
Button ($2.35)
SB ($3.45)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP calls $0.02, 2 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.06) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets $0.02, Hero raises to $0.04, MP folds, SB calls $0.02.

Turn: ($0.14) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $0.11, Hero raises to $0.22, SB calls $0.11.

Right after calling my raise he goes, "we're probably going to split this."

River: ($0.58) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $0.02, Hero calls $0.02.

Final Pot: $0.62

Results in white below:
SB has 5s 7c (two pair, sevens and fives).
Hero has 4s 6s (straight, nine high).
Outcome: Hero wins $0.62.

As you can see, due to his chat-semibluff I missed some value on the end trying to save some money from the rake...

Your flop raise is too small. Minraising is rarely a good move, and it definitely isn't here. If you are going to raise, raise it at least 3x, so in this case, I would raise flop to about 7 cents. Whether you should raise flop in the first place, is debatable. I do this here all day, but you really have to have a read on your opponent & be sure of your postflop skills.

On turn, once again, what is up with the minraise? I wouldn't raise this turn personally, because we don't have the best straight. He is showing a lot of aggression, donking into us 2 streets in a row, and while this is 2NL, I understand, I would still just call. He could have 96 here. But once you decide to raise, please do not minraise. Raise a real amount. I'd make it like 40 cents.

On river, I raise. You are missing a ton of value here, like you said, and I doubt he has T6.

Never listen to what monkeys type in chat. In fact, I have had my chat on for over a year before I started turning it completely off a few months ago, and I don't think I have ever gained anything useful from chat. If I were you, I would turn off player & observer chat & concentrate on improving your game.
