Does he usually have a king or better to call the flop? Do unknowns at this level not fold pairs smaller than kings (I guess they never fold weaker kings?) enough to bet again?

Well he's probably not on the draw on that flop, you often see Kx, 2x or small pocket pairs. Definitely not worth betting again with no reads or stats. Get your money in a better spot.
