Medieval Iceland, for starters. But to say that democracy existed in ancient Greece is slightly misleading, as the democracy practiced there was far different from what most of us consider to be critical features of modern liberal democracy, such as guaranteed fundamental rights, universal suffrage, checks and balances on governmental power via separation of powers, and the scaling of representative government from a single city-state to nations of millions of disparate individuals.

The supreme "rule" in Nature is that the stronger survives -- and, in the process, takes away as much as he pleases from the weaker. There are no human laws, no human morality, no constraints at all when adopting "natural law". Humans already (but briefly) experimented with the application of "natural laws" in politics. In economics, we have AC, where strength is measured by ownership and management of property.

Hey, isn't that the richest guy in the world? I heard he plans to give away a vast fortune to charity instead of building his own sinsister empire to enslave us all.

BTW i also heard that Warren Buffet plans to give away a big chuck of his vast fortune to charity.

2 of hte richest (are they 1 and 2?) both intend to GIVE AWAY FORTUNES TO CHARITY!

Seems like those arguments about AC will create evil empires due to unrestrained capitalism is bunk.
