and also, i forget what his name was but i remember a cardplayer article on him.. i'm pretty sure he was a billionaire and he played some pros heads up

good thing i saved the pic from the article



does anyone know what his name is?

There are some very very rich Russian games going on among the billionairs and mobsters that can run $1m per buy in. Right now the biggest games are in Russia and by far the wealthiest players.

I didnt read the wholde thread since its tl;dr but I think Phil Helmuth must be the poker pro who is the closest to be a billionaire. He is involved in many business + he wins all these tournaments. In No-limit holdem tournament he is the best, its not even close.

Damn, it says Magic Johnson's net worth is $900 million. I knew that guy was out hustling to make a buck with gyms, movie theaters, coffee shops, and so on, but I didn't know he had been that successful. Baller.
