Re: College football week 10
So is Charlie Weis:
1) Going clinically insane 2) Drunk/high on the sideline 3) Throwing the game to make one big score since he figures he's fired after the year anyway and will never get another head coaching job. I think it's got to be one of the three. They ran the ball up the middle to set up a FG and then went for it. WTF! |

I am convinced that Charlie is trying to lose on purpose. I haven't figured out why, however.

How many times do I have to explain it to you people? This is ALL Ty Willingham's fault.

Re: College football week 10
No announcers, Navy does not need to kneel their way into overtime. ND just handed them an opportunity to win on the road, even if they didn't get anywhere.

Re: College football week 10
In Weis' defense, their kicker has not made a field goal this season.
P.S. This game is hilarious. Especially since I have Under 58.5 and Navy +3.5. Both winners now (and easy winners if not for that ND miracle conversion) that could be lost in OT. |

Re: College football week 10
Ty never recruited a good kicker. How was Weis supposed to think about going out an trying to recruit a decent one? He's an offensive genius - not special teams. There's just supposed to be some guy on campus who wants to be a walk-on kicker ala Rudy. It is Notre Dame after all.
