Can't say with ANY confidence without stats or reads. Might just call the minraise and reevaluate turn. You have any other info?

No, sorry, that's all I had to work with (and I had no idea what to do either, obviously).

Darn 10NL! How to read the min raise is the question. Does this guy think K10 or A10 is the nuts? He might have hit a weird two pair. I call and see what happens on the turn as he has to lead. If he has been really aggressive, you have to gamble and go with your read. I usually find most NL10 players are really passive and only bet when they have monsters. There isn't much of a mind game going on at NL10. This is of course compared to the totally way advanced NL25!

Well, my notes say that I thought about folding right away, then decided to call and reevaluate on the turn. But it got easier (I think) because I picked up outs with an OESD:

Flop: ($1.65) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.25, CO calls $1.25, Button folds, BB raises to $2.5, Hero calls $1.25, CO calls $1.25.

Turn: ($9.15) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets $5.8 (All-In), Hero calls $5.80, CO calls $5.80.

River: ($26.55) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero bets $1.3 (All-In), CO calls $0.70 (All-In).

Final Pot: $28.55

I think the call and re-evaluate is correct here, as you can fold turn if a bad card hits or they show too much strength. Two pair or set is possible with check min-raise, but at 10NL sometimes people will play the same way with AT, KT, etc. As it happens, with you picking up the OESD I think you played the hand fine on the turn. There is no way you can fold once the 9 hits. What was the outcome of the hand?
