Judge judy would have him out on the 28. The 3 extra days he wants to stay in march she would charge him the prorated rent. So he would have to pay for days worth of rent One year total rent divided by 360 days. Also to change the locked door can be deducted from the deposit for damages. He alted the apartment with out permission. (*Only if he don't put back the original door knob.)

Just saw a cas like this yesterday.

He'll definitely put back the original knob. That I'm not too worried about. If he's out on the 28th and everything's in order, I'd be more than happy to give him the whole deposit back avoiding any further confrontation and getting him the hell outta my life!
