I really dislike the layout for the videos pages, it's so messy and hard to follow. It stretches everything and on 1900x1200 you have to go left and right on each line to know what's going on. It should be kept to a certain width.

Also the header at the top with the CR logo is very blurry.

I tried streaming CTS's video but nothing happened. Will try in IE.

otherwise, nice work

Someone please? IE doent work for me.

I'm downloading now. Here's how I fixed it:

Open you hosts file (usually c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) in notepad and add these lines:

66.209.214.49 cardrunners.com
66.209.214.49 www.cardrunners.com

Save file, restart your browser and download the cts vid!

[/ QUOTE ]

could someone please explain this a little more, pretend you're explaining it to a 5 year old.

thanks.

[/ QUOTE ]

go to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and in there, you find several files, one of them is called "hosts". open this file with notepad (right click on it and "open with" and then select notepad)

if the file is opened in notepad, you have to add those two lines at THE END of the file.
66.209.214.49 cardrunners.com
66.209.214.49 www.cardrunners.com

(don't do anything else, thats all, insert them exactly like that)

press "ctrl + s" (for saving the file).

close notepad

start firefox/internet explorer again

type "www.cardrunners.com" in the adress line and it should work.

Why does CTS' head look like it's been cut-and-pasted onto his body?

to compile what I said earlier about in different posts, for Taylor:

- In Firefox streaming doesn't work at all, the WMP player doesn't even show up. Downloading does work.
- In IE streaming doesn't work using IE7/latest WMP player. It "connects" and then says "Ready" but nothing happens even when I press Play. Downloading works.
- When I download the file and try to play it using WMP 11 it says Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For additional assistance, click Web Help. and nothing happens.
- I had fixed the Firefox streaming problem on the old site by disabling UDP connections in WMP11, but i guess it doesn't work anymore.
- The WMP error is related to DRM files and happens to a ton of people and nothing much is known about what causes it. It could be from the file or something as weird as the sound card.

So basically I can't view the videos at all.

Very very slow. That's been my main complaint about CR from the beginning, and I hope this problem finally gets resolved soon.

For some reason it won't let me save. I did the exact thing as above and keep getting an error.

"Cannot create the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file.

Make sure that the path and file name are correct."
