Click2pay cheques (to Canada)
Hi,
Recently I've made several withdrawals using click2pay. I now have 3 cheques from them. The currency is Eur. Has anyone in Canada tried cashing these cheques? I went to small royal bank branch and they gave me some crap story about not being able to cash it into my bank account. Then when I complained they went and spoke to the manager and said the fees associated with getting the money from Commerzbank (ONE OF THE TOP 25 LARGEST BANKS IN THE WORLD) would cost me about HALF of what the cheques were worth. And these aren't 50 EUR cheques. They are a few thousand dollars. Anyone cashed these cheques??? Or was I just at a stupid branch with their heads up their arses? |

Re: Click2pay cheques (to Canada)
Try another bank or branch. I've cashed Commerzbank cheques at BMO with no problem. Just the usual holding period and exchange fee.

Re: Click2pay cheques (to Canada)
Sounds like a bad branch. I cashed one cheque without problems other than a few conversion fees. Cashing out from C2P should really be your last option. Get a cheque from the poker site or Moneybookers. It will cost you a lot less in conversion fees.
