if he does has 45d he does, you're not folding to any bet, so that doesn't matter. i dont like to have someone else do the betting for me in this spot. either go with Melon and push or sometimes I do a bet that looks like a blocking bet. even if he just calls a blocking bet, better than a check behind.

worse hands meaning those that aren't full houses. if he has a boat it doesn't matter what you do.

I was drunk and read the board 5 times to make sure it wasn't a straight flush and it still had a gap in it somewhere I swear. Yea, I really don't think he vbet with worse than a FH and occasionally the nut flush, both of which he'll usually call a bet with.

so I checked and he instapotted it with Ad7x, then he was nice enough to call my push for like $7.60 more

I felt like the naked Ad was a significant portion of his range here but I had no way to be sure he'd bet it, nor did I know what he'd do with the rest of his range... clearly arguments for both options here.
