what is his range here and what part of that range is betting the river (and what subset of that range is calling a push)?

also, fwiw, after reflecting a bit on this hand I think that my fears of being beaten were influenced to some degree by the fact that getting stacked here would cost me nearly twice as much as I'd ever lost in a single hand before.

just a general question from a ssnl guy.

are you guys deep enough (150bbs) that he could peel the turn w/ a bare flush draw? or is something like 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]x [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] more likely?

Well the thing is a crai is not much more than a minraise to him so its very hard for him to fold much. But thinking about it a bit more crai does seem like its almost overplaying your hand. It also seems unlikely he will shove over your river bet with much that you beat. Maybe just overshove river and hope for a hero call.
Sure you will run into a house sometimes but he surely won't c/c two streets and check the river with a set/house that often.

I like a 1/2 pot bet here that looks like a blocker. He'll probly shove over the top with smaller flushes and might turn some hands 2 pair hands into bluffs.

how likely is villian to a)vbet thinly here when checked to and b)shove over our river lead with a smaller flush?
