This is really close.
If you risk getting tilted if he owns you with a set/AA just fold.

what would you RR to PF? I would have to raise to ~$70 to prevent him from getting set odds. I figured I would just make my normal raise size and try and play well postflop.

Were you checking the turn to induce a bluff? Then you can't fold.

If the situation is right, I'm sure that can be a valid play. But then why are you asking what to do?

If you weren't checking to induce a bluff, why aren't you betting that turn?

well i folded and felt pretty good about it afterwards.

I figured that of villain's UTG opening range, PPs are quite a bit more likely than SCs since in most situations most fold SCs UTG. Even with my image, I thought it was more likely he was trying to make me make a hero call with a set or AA with me justifying it on my image than he was making a big semibluff, which I "only" have 70% equity against as opposed to like 5% if he has a set.

uh this is a definite call. I've seen MKovner make many plays in rr pots (as in shoving with AK when he whiffed and senses weakness). You are so far ahead of his range here especially given your history - a fold here is so terrible imo
