Default The minimalist approach (poker dedicated computer)

So I'm thinking of making a strictly poker dedicated computer to avoid any unnecessary crashes or other problems.

Other than all the programs necessary for poker, what would you recommend I install on the machine? For example: Memory management, anti-virus, firewalls. What OS would be best / most stable?

What kind of specs are required to run up to 16 tables in 2 sites with hud, tracker, SS, aggregator, etc. Would there be any reason to avoid datamining on the same machine?

I'd probably run 2 WFP3007s or one with a sideways 20" monitor (don't want any risk of issues with 2 video cards and more monitors).

Any advice in this matter would be greatly appreciated. The goal is essentially to maximize performance with no unnecessary costs (I already have monitors).

I sorta do this. Use a Linux box for normal 2p2 / other Internet surfing, email etc.

Unfortunately I don't have this:

I run:

Fully updated XP Pro, Kerio personal firewall (old 2.x? version - not sure), Avira AntiVir AntiVirus/AntiRootKit, FireFox (for Neteller, banking etc.), CamStudio + XVID codec (for recording videos), AllSnap, AutoHotkey (OBVIOUSLY), SnoopFree (not right now, breaks BetPot - working on that), ProcessGuard Free version.

IIRC, that's about it
