Value betting againts LCOs (loose-Clueless Opponents)
A newb LCO raised pre to 600. (blinds 100-200)and everyone folded around to me on button with 10-4o. I called because I knew I could out play her if the board did not help her. FLOP 10-8-8 rainbow. She checked I bet 1000 she called. TURN 7 I bet 2000. she called. RIVER J. She paused and bet 2000. Duh I wonder if she hit [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img] I call and she had A-J. How can you value bet againts people like this?

what you should have done was put her to a decision for all her chips. The allin move works every time but once, so that is pretty good odds.
