They deduct a half cent per point.

That's quite a lot. Pretty much makes the Full Tilt Points system worthless for the player with rakeback.

Are you getting MGR confused with rakeback? Or are you just bad at math?

I'm really [censored] sick of people saying FT points are "worthless." FT points give you a 73% discount on store items. But hey, if you prefer to pay full retail price for the same item just so that you can get a little more rakeback, then go ahead.

It would only be worthless if FT offered 100% rakeback.

yea, timster, i think ur misunderstanding something...

it's .005 per FTP that u use..this is a hit to ur MGR, not ur rakeback payment...

a 50K point purchase is a $250 hit to ur MGR, which in the long run, is not that big of a deal considering how much rake u paid on ur way to 50K...

Thats really not that bad...

So a 15,000 FTP jacket only hits my MGR for 75$ so loss to my payment is $20.25... Tkx for the clarification

Do they deduct the same if you use your points to enter a tournament?

It seems like you can get $0.005/pt value out of the 1200 point STT's, but their big FTP WSOP qualifiers etc are (nearly) worthless.

Is there ever a way to get more than $0.005 per point value? I'd much rather use a lot more of my points at once than slog through a bunch of 1200 pt SitNGo's.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i only thought they deducted from the MGR for store purchases and if u did use the pts for a tourney, just the overlay would be deducted...i thought...

but in a FTP tournament, what's the difference between the "overlay" and the value of the points? Or do you mean that you only get a hit to your MGR if you win a prize in the tournament?

Nope, just for spending the points (whether you win a prize or not) you take the hit.

FWIW, spending FTP points on tournaments is pointless. The value goes WAY down.
