Default Possibly some hope for your FT players w\\o rakeback

FTP Rep Talks about Rakeback

Question #11

11. Any update on what you are doing for players who did not sign up with an affiliate and are thus RB-less? Access to rakeback? Lower cost points store? Anything?

- Yes, we're still planning on doing something. One idea we've been kicking around is a customized bonus that ends up acting quite a lot like rakeback, but without the word rakeback. Thoughts?

Good or Bad for the affiliates.. Shrug

The link is broken.

Saving people that already signed up and are not connected to an affiliate should be neutral. If you are a non rb affiliate and they are going to be doing this for your players it is probably slightly -ev.

Link fixed i think.. Ya the non-RB affiliates could be the ones who suffer.

The RB affiliates could also suffer becuase what will be the incentive of a person to signup under a RB affiliate if they can get the exact same thing though FTP?

It depends on how their bonus system would work. IMO rb is much more important now that transfer are so difficult. Players in the know would want some sort of guarantee of future revenue.

My position on this would be that the bonus system is going to stimulate the rake-willingness of the players at the same time and has the potential of bringing back some dormant ones.

It will probably be tiered so that you need to rake decent amounts to unlock the full amount so that people are encuraged to rake more and at the same time prevents a totall loss across the board. They lose more money on an affiliat at 25% with players getting 27% rakeback through "bonus" even though they will deduct this from rake than having a rakeback affiliate own the player.
