Default Doyles.... closing????

Anyone heard if Doyles is shutting out US players? I know Tribecca is...can Doyles go off on their own? [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

I have HEARD that Doyles is not closing. They MIGHT be switching platforms which might be death though!

It would be a pretty crazy decision because "Doyle" as a marketing tool is useless outside the US -- nobody has heard of him.

oh [censored] off, as if it's "the most ridiculous thing you have heard on these forums".

I can't think of a single non-american that I personally know who has heard of Doyle Brunson. He is not a known person like in the states. Thus the use of his name as a marketing tool is pretty useless.

Of course all poker players know about him, but if you ask anyone who isn't involved in poker they wouldn't know him for sure. All celebs in the US ain't celebs in the rest of the world [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Ok off track a bit here but the peak times on doyles would lead you to belive that quite a few European players are on the site.

Which platform whould they swich to? I dont see how that would be the death of site, although I do like the skin as is.

Playtech(Titan,Noble etc) has bought Tribecca (Doyles,VC etc)
and will be switching all Tribecca platforms to Playtech.
Playtech dont accept US players.
