Micro(10PLO) 3 Hands for Review
I'm trying out Omaha and have little clue as to what I am doing... I picked up the Slotboom book the other day and tried to apply the priciples of the first two chapters. Overall I was playing fairly tight unless I could see a flop for cheap out of the blinds or in position. In these three hands I have no reads on villian since I was farily new to the table or they were.
Hand One I think I made a mistake on the flop since it is fairly coordinated and likely to have given someone a big draw but I figured at the moment I was ahead and getting my money in now with the idea that the bigger stacks might give me protection. Hand Two I am unsure of preflop. I considered folding preflop but since I had a nut flush potential I thought it was worth a shot. Hand Three I was also unsure as to how to play preflop. I didn't want to give my hand away and bloat the pot out of position so I flat called. Tear me a new one but be kind. Re: Micro(10PLO) 3 Hands for Review
Hand 1, holy [censored] fold
Hands 2 and 3 are fine (some people will tell you to raise with your aces preflop in hand 3 but its fine to mix things up like this as well) |

Re: Micro(10PLO) 3 Hands for Review
Yeah you can't overvalue AAxx like that, it's not good there. Hand 2 is standard, nice flop by the way. Hand 3 is standard too.
At these levels you don't really want to play too fancy but just try to understand the basics like getting it in with the best hand with hand equity. |

Re: Micro(10PLO) 3 Hands for Review
hand one looks really nice pre flop raise the pot with that many callers that double raise i hate,
hand 2 i fold pre i hate playing trips in hand but worked out rather nice for you and i may have raised flop as you have nuts so you know he isnt betting a better hand but most probably a drawy hand and at these stakes they are gonna be calling for draws on flop always hand 3 i do basically same nice |
